I like and appreciate the web version for the iPhone, however, the refresh does not seem to work, additionally, i loose my session and have to log in every other time.
An iPhone app would be wonderful, better refresh control and no more logging in.
I would pay for that App.

i like to go check in on all twits, but there are some finger heavy folks who i would like to put on ignore... and maybe some who would like to ignore me :)

If I mouse-over a tweet, e.g. to look at a chart, the stream should automatically pause until I am finished.

The way it behaves now, it is almost impossible to view charts during market hours without manually pausing the stream. Take a look at the site twitterfall site to see how it should behave.

said it b4, i think you have a great system that has work wonders for beginners like me in several levels. loneliness, learning, personal advice, reading. thinking about the groups you could create scheduled coaching sessions or indicator teachings by expert volunteer twitterers or so.

Encourage posters to include a + or - at the end of their ticker to indicate whether their post is bullish or bearish on that ticker. Later on your site you can allow for filtering or grouping of posts, and you can rank tickers in your summary based on how the community feels, and you can include trends or stats on your custom landing page.

I'm still fairly new and it would be nice to know all of the commonly used trader acronmyms.

analyze long/short twits and see what the overall sentiment is for a stock.

It would be good if you can have the facility for traders to choose certain parameters i.e. which stocks had a really high volume (buy/sell) for the day, or the percentage change, or gaps and ability to set those parameters then have stocktwits send those stocks (if parameters) are hit via Twitter.

This would work as an alert to traders who really want to know what is happening right now in real time.

It would be necessary to at least begin with foreign indexes like BRIC(Brazil, Russia, India, China) besides FTSE100 of U.K. and Nikkei225 of Japan. Worldwide Investors are looking towards the ideas from the emerging markets like BRIC. Besides that, the global markets are incomplete without FTSE and Nikkei.
Looking forward to some quick action on this.
